BRI-ARI is a joint venture between Piper Books and 3RsPlus, Inc. With roots stretching back to 1966, 3RsPlus conducts Research and Development, and is instrumental in constructing educational products.
DICK SCHUTZ, President of 3RsPlus, was formerly Professor of Educational Psychology at Arizona State University and Executive Director of the Southwest Regional Laboratory for Educational Research and Development. He served as President of the National Council for Measurement in Education and Vice President of the Instruction and Learning Division of the American Educational Research Association. The founding editor of the Journal of Educational Measurement, and the founding journal editor of the Educational Researcher, he has also served as editor of the American Educational Research Journal.
GERALDINE CARTER has a life-long interest in early reading acquisition. Formerly a children’s book editor, ten years ago she completed a course in SpLD with the Hornsby Institute (now part of Dyslexia Action), shortly afterwards retraining to teach Synthetic Phonics. She is a Committee Member of the Reading Reform Foundation and a Trustee of Our Right to Read Trust.
